I really liked your choice of music. It was very haunting.
Thank you! Einaudi never fails to impress.
This was gorgeous- my favourite scenes were definitely the ones where they were embracing. I felt so much love and healing when I looked at them. The ending was so sad- I wanted Draco to turn around so badly- and when Harry was in pain, it was palpable- even in that one image (of his head in his hands). This was really touching and moving. I simply wish there was a happy ending though... (clearly Harry hasn't let go, since he felt a need to include the note on the invitation- and I think you never let go of real love, even when it abandons you). Fabulous job!

I know it's a very sad end, but, when I drew it, I had this verse from Dylan Thomas in mind: "Though lovers be lost love shall not". And it pretty much sums up my feelings about them.

Thank you so much for your insightful comment, I really appreciated it.
Thank you very much!
...Wow. I'm completely stunned by the beauty of this. The drawings, the music, the words all go together so perfectly... I'm speechless, honestly. I've always admired you and this is just... wow.

Sorry for the incoherence of this review but I really, really, really loved this :)
And I really, really loved your comment. I'm a big fan of incoherent words when they're caused by one of my artwork. ;)

Thank you so much!
The music really did set the tone for a gorgeous vid. The adaptation for the narration was also a fitting choice. I loved how you had imagery specifically matching up to the theme of the words but also some that were just there to give a more complete sense of the characters. It was amazing. Thank you for participating (especially since this is your last Flash movie. :) It was great!)

Oh, I'm really glad that you liked how I matched up words and images, I was afraid someone could find it a bit weird.

Thank you very much for commenting! :)
*gives a handkerchief*

I'm SO glad it moved you. That's the best reward an artist can get.

Thank you so much! *hugs you* :)
Wow. This was absolutely amazing. I love the story you've told. Draco's struggle, and ultimate failure, to find a way to live in the world he's always known -- in the place he's always wanted to be -- just broke my heart.

The artwork was just gorgeous. I always admire artists who can create such powerful images with such simple, uncomplicated lines and spare use of colour. Nothing is overdone, which, I think, makes it even more powerful. I love the panel with Draco floating in the water with the snow coming down, and also the 'faintly, slightly, surely' pic -- he seems confident that he's doing the right thing, or at least at some sort of peace.

The music was perfect, too. Bravo!

Yes, that's exactly what I wanted to communicate. Draco can't really find a way to live in this new, post-war wizarding world, it's not hisworld anymore. And when he decides to leave it's both a pain and a relief, because he was carrying too much of a weight.

Thank you so much for your insightful comment!

This was absolutely gorgeous. I just couldn't help but leave a review. The inking is impeccable and the colours are washed, and muted, and beautiful, and absolutely poignant. I'm utterly sorry I can't be as coherent and as critical as I can be but I'm just blown away. I'm going to come back tomorrow, watch the entire peg, and leave a better review.
Your review was absolutely lovely. :) If you decide to leave another one, it will be a pleasure to read it.

Thank you so much!
heartbreaking and beautiful. their is one picture of Harry's profile that was just mindblowing. the whole thing was amazing and gorgeous. Fabulous.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked Harry's profile. :)
This so amazing! I'm crying and speechless. You've done the team proud!
Awww, Thank you much! I'm so proud of being part of this team! :D
Wow. Your art is always so beautiful and expressive. I can express what a treat it was to get to see so many images at once. This was poetic, really moving and the ending was heart breaking.
Thank you so much, it is always a pleasure to read your comments.

The First Day Of Spring

Your art is beautiful, my dear, as always. You have such an unusual choice of perspectives, for example the pic with Draco floating in the water, or how you tell so much with feet alone. &hearts And I love your way of combining the pictures and words to tell a story.

Your choice of colouring and the music fit perfectly to create the overall sadness and calm acceptance.

The story itself has such a bittersweet quality - it broke my heart to see Draco struggle to come to terms with the world after the war, and fail. And Harry's last note, that he never looked back - I can't help to think that he is not telling the truth, for he felt the need to include this. *sobs*

Congratulations of a wonderful piece of story-telling and thank you for sharing your beautiful art with us.

It breaks my heart too, but Draco's struggle during the post-war years it's my favourite subject. I wanted to tell his story, even if I did know it couldn't possibly have a happy ending.
