another fantastic story from team epilogue! your harry and draco are wonderful. harry has his heart in the right place--i loved his qualms about cheating, his insistence on having made a promise to ginny and to honor that promise, his refusal to go along with draco's rules, etc. your draco made me laugh so many times with his perfectly creased pants, his scheming, and his ridiculous sex rules. it was wonderful to see draco as such a doting father.

i also liked the plot in general, esp. that both al and scorpius were taking part in the tournament [i also have a big weakness for al/scorpius in h/d fics, so i went "awww" when al confesses he loves scorpius]. i'd love to hear more about why you decided to tie the story to the tube because while i saw some connections at times [like, at the end, when they are actually in an abandoned part of the underground], the overall meaning is unclear to me. like, how do all the station names relate to the story segments? when i first read the title, i was expecting a story that was directly tied to the tube, so i was a little confused at first when it turns out the triwizard tournament is the actual focus. i'd love to hear any of your ideas about the connection between that and the tube :)

i was expecting a story that was directly tied to the tube, so i was a little confused

Thanks for the constructive feedback! The whole story was paced to feel like an underground journey - sort of fast and seeming to be a bit out of control, but the train gets you to the station in the end. I was hoping to get across the metaphor that the chariot/underground is powerful, a bit dangerous and yet, ultimately under control and headed in the right direction. It gets you where you need to be, but it's always an adventure. Of all of the subways that I've ridden, the London tube has always seemed most like a train in that regard - others, more technically updated, have seemed very smooth, streamlined and automated (and therefore, without a lot of character). Sorry that didn't work for you.
oh, thank you for explaining! this makes a lot of sense, actually. i guess i was just thinking very literally after reading the summary and title, and that's why i didn't make the connections. i really liked the fic, though, and have just recced it on my journal :D
